Hey, I’m Chrysanthos Kindynis, an aspiring ML/AI engineer with a background in computer science and security‑focused data work, passionate about applying AI for high‑impact problem solving.
My journey towards engineering and AI:
When I think about how to introduce myself, my mind goes back to high school in Cyprus. I was a teenager trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, and that’s when I discovered algorithms and programming through the Cyprus Olympiad in Informatics.
Weekly training sessions and regular competitions exposed me to data structures, algorithms, and challenging problems. I realised how much I enjoy being given a problem, a set of tools, and the freedom to design my own solution.
That feeling led me to study Computer Science at TU Delft, where I completed a bachelor’s in Computer Science & Engineering, and later a master’s in AI after recognising it as a powerful extension of my toolkit.
That mindset hasn’t changed: I’m drawn to roles where I can combine strong fundamentals and cutting‑edge methods with creativity and ownership to solve meaningful problems.
Beyond engineering and AI:
Apart from technology, I find myself drawn to creativity, journaling, reflection, and mindfulness. These practices help me stay on a path that actually resonates with me, rather than just following the next obvious step. Through these reflections, I’ve noticed that I do my best work when I balance ambitious goals with space to think, learn, and grow.
Additionally, part of the healthy challenges I like to take on is my practice in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I am currently a blue belt, actively training and competing when I have the chance, which keeps me grounded, resilient, and comfortable with being a beginner again and again.
